Are you interested in working in a veterinary hospital? You will learn what a typical day is like at a veterinary hospital and the skills needed to work with animals and their human companions. You will practice diagnosing animal injuries and learn what is required to become a licensed veterinary technician or manager of a veterinary practice.

Leader – Carol Rathmann

Carol Rathmann is the manager of the Sonoma County Humane Society Veterinary Hospital. She is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and has a master’s degree in Psychology. Carol serves on the RVT Veterinary Committee Advisory Board of Santa Rosa Junior College. She presents at national conferences and has received several professional honors and awards.
