Career Field – Medical/Kinesiology/Health

Are you curious how the heart works? What happens when things go wrong? Medical devices can help. In this workshop you'll play with some real medical devices and have a chance for hands-on experience.

Leader - Laura David

Laura David has a B.S. in biology from Bates College in Maine. She is working at Medtronic Vascular as an associate scientist in the Cell Biology group.

Co-Leader - Ayala Hezi-Yamit

Ayala Hezi-Yamit has a Ph.D in molecular biology from the Weizmann institute, in Israel. She currently works as a principal scientist in Medtronic Vascular.

Co-Leader - Megan Kalstad

Megan has a M.S. in bioengineering from Arizona State University, and a B.S. in physics with minors in biology and psychology from Oregon State University. She currently works as a scientist at Medtronic Vascular in Science and Technology.
