Everybody knows how to use a flashlight. But do you know what a schematic for a flashlight looks like? In this workshop we will use computer aided design (CAD) software to learn about voltages and currents in a flashlight. Then we use the software to design electronic dice.

Leader – Susan Barich

As a technical support engineer at Agilent, Susan Barich helps customers use simulation software to improve their high frequency circuit designs. Susan earned her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin, and went on to earn a master's degree from Stanford University. She is the mother of three teenagers, and is a longtime supporter and volunteer for Girl Scouts.
