Career Field – Computer Science

How are animations created on the computer? We'll build 3D objects using the Alice programming environment to create our own virtual worlds. These worlds can be developed into movies, video games, and other interactive experiences.

Leader – Lynn Stauffer

Lynn Stauffer is professor and chair in the Computer Science Department at Sonoma State University. She was recently honored with the SSU Excellence in Teaching award. She is the proud mom of three children.

Co-Leader – Tia Watts

Tia Watts is a professor of computer science at Sonoma State University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. She has led the SSU computer programming team in regional contests and is currently teaching advanced courses in game programming.
